London & Port Stanley Railway

Background

L&PS was incorporated in 1852 to build from London to Port Stanley, converting to standard gauge in 1872. In 1914 it was leased to the city of London for 99 years, which subsequently bought the line in 1950. In turn, the city of London sold the line to CN in 1966. They were first listed in the ORER by July 1916, and were removed by July 1966.
